As an investor and a citizen I wish to respond to the SEC's request for comments on S7-06-16.

Investors deserve to know the amount a corporation spends to influence elections. Such disclosure and transparency is one solution that requires companies to consider the consequences, and the longterm interests of their shareholders, before making such decisions..

Corporations should be open and honest about such expenditures with their investors and the American people.

Public corporations should at a minimum be required to:

1. Disclose political spending.

2. Disclose oversea tax payments, country-by-county.

The SEC can help end the secrecy and give investors and the American people the information they deserve.
