For years investors have self certified their accredited status. No problems so far. No need to change. What problem are you trying to solve? Why do you care? As an investor, I will not share my financials with a company in which I have an investment interest. If that is required as now proposed, I will cease being an angel investor. That is not an idle threat. Do I have to show my personal financials when I invest in a mutual fund? Or buy ATT?
