As a first time CEO that recently finished fundraising for a new startup, the new document requirements and potential for a 1-year fundraising ban are incredibly alarming. A 1-year fundraising band would be a death sentence for many companies, and at their earliest stages it's unlikely that they will have the resources to ensure they're in full-compliance with the newly proposed documentation requirements.
