The proposed rules place an additional burden on entrepreneurs like myself. They also increase risks involved with funding. Being banned for a year for just one mistake is very chilling. It is also unfair. Starting a new venture is a lot of work already. A ton of paperwork and complicated responsibilities will just make it less likely to succeed.
Entrepreneurs don't need our government to make things harder. We need our government to get out of the way and let us succeed on the merits of our business. Not on our ability to fill out forms.
