Hello SEC, My name is William Bledsoe and I am a household investor. I invest in the US stock market on my own behalf. I am writing to send my overwhelming support for the following proposed rule: S7-05-23 I think holding broker-dealers responsible for not only the unauthorized access of customer data but also the obligation to inform impacted customers is both appropriate and required to meet the standards of today's digital world. I am pleased to see that these obligations would also extend to transfer agents. Again, I hope the SEC passes this proposed rule because it would keep the US stock market from falling out of standards that have long been established in other industries, especially tech.
