I am an individual investor and I am greatly in favor of this proposed change. This change will help reduce risk to the investor. I would like to see an eventual T+0 change as I see no reason with today's technology the buy and sell could not be completed within 1 business day.
I would however like to request a short implementation time period. The implementation date of March 2024 seems a bit long. There should be no reason that a change of this nature that is favored by industry, retail and the government cant be implemented in 180 days after approval.
