Esteemed regulators, As a proud American invested in the digital asset realm, I write to express alarm at the SEC's proposed legislation. While vigilant oversight is essential in our free market, overregulation risks stifling the innovation that made America an economic superpower. Cryptocurrencies are revolutionizing finance, supply chains, healthcare and more. By treating decentralized assets like traditional securities, the SEC ignores their unique potential. Excessive controls could drive innovators offshore, robbing America of new technologies. Moreover, existing laws already enable investor protections. The Securities Acts of '33 and '34 were brilliantly crafted to regulate securities while defending economic freedom. Building on these firm foundations with prudent policies is the wisest course. Regulators, I trust in your good judgment. But overreaching legislation could undermine American leadership in emerging technologies. With faith in free enterprise and democratic values, I urge applying existing laws before imposing untested rules. If innovation is allowed to thrive, America will remain the land of opportunity.
