To Whom it May Concern: I would like to express my support for any and all efforts directed at closing tax loopholes that the Private Equity industry has taken advantage of for decades, particularly the carried interest loophole. Additionally, I strongly support Mr. Gensler's efforts to return to a normal competitive market for capital in the Private Equity investment industry. For example, Private Equity companies should be forced to disclose fees and expenses to those who give them money. This must be done in a standardized, transparent, and easy to understand format so that stewarts of public retirement and pension funds can make the best decisions on behalf of small, disenfranchised savers.
