April 19, 2023 I firmly support this proposed rule to recognize qualifying crypto spaces as exchanges. It's certainly reasonable to extend the protections of our regulating network into the land of crypto currencies, particularly after the recent FTX implosion that left many household participants high and dry. It is likely that the lack of regulations in the crypto space is functioning as a loophole allowing large wallstreet entities to underwrite large leveraged positions in our securities and derivatives markets. I STRONGLY encourage reporting requirements be imposed on ANY investing firm that works in both crypto and securities.
