April 19, 2023 The SEC need to be able to regulate cryptocurrencies to allow them to accomplish their regulatory agenda within the securities industry. Cryptocurrencies is allowed to be used as locates for collateral but has no regulatory body, allowing for bad actors to abuse the system and ultimately investors.
