March 15, 2023 Please, I know I don't need to explain why I am here. There is no way you have ever had this many comments in a short amount of time, in general, let alone one specifically proposed rule. Just do the right thing. Stop giving market makers the ability to short stocks among many other practices that eventually trickle down and harm individual investors. Citizens. They owe what they owe. Are we allowed to ignore our debts? (Of course this is rhetorical) You know what is right. You know what is fair. You don't need thousands of comments. You just need the courage. There are many of us. In a round about way, there are millions of us, most just don't realize it. Please protect us. It's part of your job.
