Why are there exemptions for anyone in the markets? Why are there \"Market Makers\"? The problem with the markets are that the SEC has allowed illegal and criminal acts become rule and regulation. This institution has been bought and paid for a long time ago. The only way the markets become better is by simplifying them back to basics. If a security has only x number of stocks that can be sold, leave it at that. There shouldn't be allowed a system that takes an investors money and doesn't instantly provide the security in which was purchased. Balance sheets of Market Makers should not have a line item that states \"Securities sold, not yet purchased\"........ that is theft, especially when a system was then bought and designed to allow Failure to delivers (FTDs) to keep getting pushed down the road and never delivered to the consumer. All trades should be through the lit market regardless of who or what is making them. Payment for order flow has been said to be created by B
ernie Madoff, which was imprisoned for running a scam similar to this, and you geniuses decided to create and approve regulation that turned an illegal act into a legal one, how does that make sense or even make the markets better? What needs to happen is the system needs to eliminate \"Market Makers\because they really serve no purpose other than creating counterfeit securities (which is a crime if that was done to currency), with a promise to deliver a real share, eventually, at their convenience once the price of your investment drops far enough so they can steal investors money, and manipulate the actual price discovery of a company doing so. The markets are unjust and unfair for the average investor and has always been catered to the \"legal criminals\of the enterprise. Stop giving exemption to an entity that really serves absolutely no real purpose in the system except for creating counterfeit shares and stealing from the investor.
