I am a retail investor in favor of this rule proposal to increase transparency and reporting requirements for private equity funds and hedge funds. Full disclosure and reporting of positions should be required and will help to deter bad actors from market manipulation and expose funds that may be high-risk and that should be flagged for SEC examination. I encourage the SEC to explore more frequent disclosure reporting for high-risk firms.
