If it wasn't for the people who actually do the work, CEOs would not be getting such huge salaries. I think in Japan, a CEO cannot make more than 7 times the salary of the average worker.
If a corporation makes so much money that it can pay its CEO even 50 times more than the average worker, they should pay more taxes. I do believe that during his campaign, Trump made note of the fact that he would do away with such things should he be elected to office. Well, here is one thing he can keep his word on that doesn't negatively impact the common man.
