This is to encourage the SED to implement Section 953(b) of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
Irresponsible and, in many cases, illegal actions by huge financial institutions caused the financial crisis of 2008. Corporations received billions of dollars in bailouts and many Americans lost their homes and their life savings in the aftermath. Today income and wealth inequality is at historic levels. President Trump campaigned as a friend of the working class and promised to “drain the swamp.” One of the ways this administration can do that is by requiring large corporations to report their executive compensation. Please do not delay implementation of Section 953(b) of Dodd-Frank.
