There should be no relief whatsoever from this rule. Even President Trump criticized the differential in compensation between CEOs and the median worker. I am proud that my city of Portland passed a business tax on any company violating this rule. As the French economist Thomas Piketty has shown, income inequality is a major contributor to economic collapse.
