It may be complicated, it may be difficult, but it is necessary. We need transparency between business and citizens. The people should have the right to be informed regarding pay standards for the companies they work for and the companies their communities support. As our country sees a larger and larger pay gap between those at the top and those at the bottom, the only way the 'every day' person is going to truly understand their position is if those numbers are available to them. Companies must do the work to provide those financials and make them public.
