Our democratic process needs to be fully open to prevent narrow interests having too much control and citizens lacking information. Corporate interests should be disciplined by disclosure to make public their interests and impact. We must bring limits to bear on undemocratic corporate influence in our political environment, so companies must be held responsible by disclosing money they spend to influence political leadership and voting.
