It is extremely important to protect whistleblowers from the repercussions of their brave acts. The rewards seem secondary, but the personal costs of such actions warrant rewards. Whistleblowing is one of the only ways to check the malfeasance of corporations who it seems will go to any lengths to make a profit at the expense of the US taxpayer and the US consumer. The IRS the SEC and every other agency responsible for the health and well-being of US citizens must have the tools to check our present runaway culture of corporate greed. Strong protections and incentives to whistleblowers ought to provide just such a tool. Thank you.
