I have written to the SEC several times during this past year concerning the financial charges imposed by mutual funds.
My main point was the charges should be noted on the investors statement in dollars not percentages. For example Each day and from every mutual fund account a fee is deducted from the funds net asset value. Why are these charges not listed in dollars on the statements? We need to focus on expenses in dollars and not investment ratios. The monthly and/or quarterly statements should post in dollars, at the top of the page, what the actual dollar expenses are for any and all mutual fund expenses.

Sincerely, Dr. John W Nemeth
