This is a placating lie. You have absolutely zero interest in protecting the investments of hard working families. You created a rule that allows for the suspension of darkpools, but have yet to exercise your right to that rule despite overwhelming use of darkpools on numerous equities. 80% darkpool use on a single equity is exactly the reason this should be suspended. How can an investor trust that their interests are protected when true price discovery and demand is not transparent? We demand transparent exchanges

Penalties for FTDs need to be significant enough to dissuade their extreme occurrence. Year after year you announce penalties for FTDs and year after year the same entities keep doing it. Its obviously very profitable for them to fail delivery and pay the fine as a cost to do business.

T-2 settlement and T-30. Why, in a day and age of teradata transfer per second technology are we having to wait for clearing and settlements of days and months? Same day and next day are completely possible and yet the market operates like its sending a telegram. Somehow its ok for certain entities to use and abuse high frequency trading, where they can use programs to trade in FRACTIONS of a second, but also need months to find shares for settlement or for investors to sweep.

The public protested the abuses of wallstreet and the banking industry in 2008 and were much less informed at the time. At that time confidence in the regulatory bodies was diminished and it was discovered wide spread [REDACTED] watching was occurring at the SEC. Since that time confidence has only worsened and the public is more informed. The next protest will be much more effective. It is long overdue that the regulatory bodies stop sitting on their hands and actually execute rulings and penalties in a manner that has a meaningful impact. We are absolutely sick of the corruption and abuse.
