Tho I feel cynical about anything's getting done which corporate America doesn't want, still I hope that the SEC can require companies to be more transparent about their contribution to the changes threatening our so far human-tolerable climate, the future of humanity (some of whom are customers). And investors deserve to...ought to...be informed, in a just world, about the effect of climate change on the companies in which they have placed their savings and their trust.
So I support the proposed rules except the safe harbor provision from Scope 3.
