Greetings,
My name is Julin Muro and I am an artist born and raised in Argentine Patagonia, which I abandoned years ago encouraged by the ongoing crisis in my country. I have lived in several places over the past years and I am currently in NYC studying for a master's at The New School.
As a person who grew up in a close relationship to nature, who has worked and lived at huts in the mountains in the Alps and the Andes, I share a profound bond and have a deep care for the natural world which has led me to define myself as a naturalist.
I just wanted to express how much I celebrate your initiative. I, like many others, find much pain in the current state of the planet and am constantly thinking about a way to avoid its destruction. As a young artist and a migrant, it's often overwhelming.
I do believe the leading groups and organizations worldwide, as well as the political forces, need to take a definitive coordinated step towards transparency and accurate action in this regard. We need to shape a different world, which implies a change in every single human activity.
I hope that the Rules to Enhance and Standardize Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors are properly established and come to fruition.
