Electronic Delivery of Information Under the Federal Securities Laws File Number S7-2026-25 Official Comment, I strongly urge the SEC to reject proposed Regulation E-Delivery [Release No. 33-11430]. Retirement account statements, prospectuses, and investor disclosures contain essential information that affects people's financial security, and they should not be moved to electronic delivery by default without an investor's clear, affirmative consent. Many companies are pressing me to communicate with them digitally. They tell me to connect to their "secure" web site, and it tries to run some of their software in my browser. That does not respect _my_ security, so I refuse. At present, I can simply disregard those demands, but if you change the rules that might become real harassment. Please don't do that! Sincerely, Richard Stallman
