Dear Ms. Countryman, I am an individual investor, and I am writing to oppose the proposed rescission of Rule 611, the Order Protection Rule (File No. S7-2026-20). This rule appears to only benefit the wholesaler market makers. Please explain to the public how this benefits retail traders. Please stop gaming the market to only cater to the market makers and maximize their profits. Allegedly they are making historic profits based on recent earnings reports. Why do they need a larger cut of each trade? Thank you for considering my comment. Sincerely, Eric
