As a retail investor, I oppose the rescission of Rule 611, the Order Protection Rule (File No. S7-2026-20). Market makers and institutional investors already have the upper hand in access to data, speed of execution, knowledge of the interworkings of the market, visibility to order flow, etc. Now you want to allow my orders to be executed at a worse price than the best price publicly displayed on another market. Figures. I have zero trust that the SEC actually cares about individual investors. Care about protecting the orderly appearance of the market, yes. Cave into the whims of their Wall Street overlords, yes. Securing a cushy position after their SEC stint, yes. Holding Wall Street accountable for naked short selling, hahaha. More like covering up for them so the average Joe thinks the markets are fair. Do your actual jobs for once. Thank you for reading my comment which I doubt will make one iota of difference. Peter Holm
