The The Securities and Exchange Commission proposes to rescind amendments to its rules under the Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 that require registrants to provide certain climate-related information in their registration statements and annual reports, is outrageously irresponsible. Not requiring public trading companies to be required to address the impact of their operations to the health of the globe is irresponsible on the part of the government who in 1933 and 1934 felt it was important to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of the United States of America. Your attempt to support blind siding the public and contribute to climate change that is clearly causing extreme heat and wildfires across the west and extreme changes in ocean warming to name a few undeniable issues at this very moment is irresponsible and short sided. Stop the process of putting humanity at risk for the good of profit for the few. Shame on the SEC!!!! Kristina Karlsson, Boulder, Utah 84726
