To Whom it may concern, As a public citizen ,born, raised and still residing in the USA, I wholeheartedly disagree with the proposal to rescind emissions reporting requirements for USA industries. The people of this country deserve full transparency when it comes to the quality of the air we breathe. The current reporting requirements are part of that check and balance process and need to stay in place. Those not in compliance with reporting should be disciplined as outlined. Much was mentioned in the proposal about the COST to the constituents for reporting. These companies make millions, and they CAN afford it. The government and its citizens cannot afford more lung disease though. Just 3 patients with non tobacco related COPD or Pulmonary Fibrosis costs the Medicare system more than the most expensive reporting fee listed , and there are hundreds of these patients. Companies must continue to report. This keeps them accountable. Take away the mandatory reporting, and they relax their standards. Is the air going to be good for your grandkids?
