I am very much opposed to the proposed roll-back of the SEC rules for reporting and audits. In a time when there are so very many benefits/loopholes for the wealthy, those counting on their measly retirement to sustain them through their retirement years are at risk. Stop favoring cronies and think about what this lack of transparency does to the trust of the nation. Big Corporations will take advantage of this in many ways and will be able to get around this by just splitting the company. Stocks will go down, but those on the inside will be able to sell off before everyone else finds out what is going on. I understand the additional audits will be very costly and will cut into profits. Again, this doesn't help the little guys and makes our Government look like sleaze balls.
