Annette Underwood, Retired Investor. I rely on companies quarterly reports to make informed decisions about my investments; which I depend on for my livelihood! Bring a public company means answering to shareholders. Removing the quarterly reporting opens the door to putting my livelihood at greater risk. I have put my trust in the system in place. I feel very uncomfortable with the SEC reducing companies accountability. The duty of this agency is to protect me & other investors. This change will remove some of those protections. It is scary to me that the SEC is willing to remove pulics protections. The SEC is suppose to being looking out for the public, NOT the companies accountable to them. This change is a blatant slap in the face to all shareholders. Do your jobs, I need to be assured that the SEC is meeting the charge established in the beginning; PROTCT THE INVESTOR! Truly any reasonable person can easily see the problems faught from reducing companies reporting requirements. I am already struggling with increased electric, food, gas and other cost that has doubled or even tripled in recent years. I don't need or want the added stress this change will create. Sincerely, Annette Underwood
