As an investor, an attorney and a citizen I vehemently oppose the SEC Chairman's proposal to quarterly reporting optional. Mandatory reporting is one of the rules that make U.S. financial markets the standard for the entire world. Optional quarterly financial reporting is a step toward reducing the US to Third World status. Shame on you if you adopt this relaxation of reporting rules.
