Killing the general public's access to basic information is just more lack of transparency. And it can detrimentally affect the pension investments of millions upon millions. Killing all meaningful oversight of corporate financial activity allows for more and greater abuses, as if the insider trading circus isn't flagrant enough. The technology is enough to allow every corporation to complete necessary quarterly filings with ease. And these filings allow all citizens to see and understand who the corps are working with and what they are up to. It is the corps who need to be put on the digital ID leash. S C Valmy
