Frankly, this doesn't bother me a bit. Picking individual stocks is a great way for stock brokers and registered representatives to make money, but not a great idea for individual investors. 
98% of professional fund managers fail to outperform, after expenses, a no load S&P 500 fund. The problem with that strategy is only the individual investor gets rich. And, Wall Street was not created for the individual investor. It was created to take money from individual investors.
