Quarterly reporting is necessary to keep a check on people in power after the Enron disaster. "Power currupts"and has since humans were put on this earth. Changing this will only allow more time for CEO's to find ways to help themselves. We've seen what happens if companies are left unchecked. It makes no sense to loosen this, ever!
