I’m retired, with 2 adult children (both teachers), and a daughter-in-law who is a nurse. My husband worked 50 years as a small business owner; and I was a paralegal for 30 years. From 16 years old, I worked until I retired at 65. — We raised our two children who both graduated from college. — We reported our earnings, and paid our taxes on time. Politicians who represent millions of citizens owe it to us and their constituents honesty and openness about how our tax dollars are spent—it should be for the benefit of the citizens of America. As elected politicians, you are obligated to be accountable for the tax dollars we pay, and that is government spends on our behalf. Of course, you also are paid to represent your constituents and deserve compensation for serving your country. But let’s be real and honest—you know and I know Trump has brought nothing but greed and corruption to the White House and to Congress, taking, never giving. Will any one of you speak up for the hard-working citizens who chose you to represent their best interests? Or, are you now under Trump’s thumb, this wannabe dictator? Are you letting him enrich himself and his family at the expense of the American citizens? Do SEC — stop the dishonesty and stand up to Trump as dictator and stand up to his avarice and greed, and act for the benefit of the people of this United States of America. 🇺🇸 Sent from my iPhone
