The middle class American, hard worker, tax payer, is just looking for equal rights, transparency, honesty, and trust! At present, we seem to be lost as a country with all expectations! At 78, life-long single mom, and having over 33 years of a corporate career, working FOR (note…sadly, never WITH) I’m well aware of the lack of balance and sensitivity the majority of high level executives project on their workers, who are very capable and responsible employees, but most often in vulnerable situations. Because of our vulnerability, we are told to be grateful for what is given to us and we are! However, now retired, I see the lack of financial and benefit contributions that continuously challenge me while I honestly report my taxes, any extra incomes etc. and whatever else our govt dictates from me! I see no reason for these companies and corporate leaders to change their quarterly reporting! If a financially challenged, single 78 year old senior, is honest and open about her holdings, you bet I want these huge corporations and their leaders to continue with their original quarterly reporting that hopefully allows beneficial transparency!
