We have to change the societal standards of what's acceptable of our businesses and how they operate. Right now quarterly reporting is egocentric and selfish and that totally accepted. "Look at how well the company has done!" (Meanwhile, all the employees are thinking when is management going to start talking about pay raises/COLA Increase, and yet, management never does, and we keep sitting there every month. waiting for them to realize.)" How can this or that company acquire more money and power at the expense of, well, anything as long as you don't get caught". We have to realize as a species that this way leads to a road of ruin for us all. Our business and political leaders need to be held to higher ethical and moral standards, and if they "show they are not worthy of the office they hold" then they should be stripped of their title/position/access on the spot in front of everyone. No matter the cost or inconvenience at the time of the stripping because the "Rule of All" is what's most important. ALL OR NONE. This is what it takes. You want to lead? OK, we are watching you too and you'd better act fairly, morally, ethically or else it's you in the fire. Literally. This is what it takes. THIS. Due to the innate corruption and selfishness of the human species when it comes in contact with massive power and massive amounts of money. This is what I think.
