To the Securities and Exchange Commission:
Quarterly earnings reports were created to inform the public, protect investors, keep boards and executives accountable, and promote transparency. The most transparent administration in history should not be engaging in pointless deregulation to protect CEOs and billionaires. Approximately 60% of Americans own stock in one form or another, so why should the super-wealthy have the opportunity to cash out and run while the rest of us have to wait six months at a time?
I do not support this rule change, and I strongly urge you not to move forward with it.
