There is currently under consideration a change to require public companies to only issue financial statements every 6 months instead of the current requirement of doing so every 3 months. For current stockholders and potential stockholders at a disadvantage. Those within the companies or with other close ties to the company will know more quickly of changes that occur within a company. And the rate of change within the country and the world has not slowed, but has rather increasd! Wars, epidemics, catastrophes all can start or happen without much warning. The impact and how they affect a company needs to be possibly commuicated more frequently buy the company. Certainly dublong the time in between public reports is NOT appropriate.

For protection of the general public, a change to the public reporting requirements to only require public companies to do so every 6 months needs to be rejected. It is a move in the wrong directions!

Thank you.
