To the Securities and Exchange Commission: I write to you today in Support for Quarterly Reporting. Removing reporting requirements for publicly traded companies will decay the economic resiliency of small businesses and the communities they operate in. First it will raise a red flag to international investors and banks who depend on quarterly reports that are reviewed and audited to make sound financial decisions. This will slow down investment earnings and wind down lending to working class individuals and "mom and pop shops." Second, no quarterly reporting requirements will allow promotional propaganda to become an investor's compass. I would like to remind you of ENRON. An energy company that used Marketing campaigns to fool their own workers, leading to the biggest collapse in savings that I have seen in my lifetime. The result of ENRON triggered the initial decay of the middle class, dismantled Arthur Anderson (one of the then, big five accounting firms) for complicity, and harmed many businesses and communities with their "energy scheme." Third, we meaning humans are currently being comfronted by the examination of our own value as humans because of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) propaganda. Rule S7-2026-15 is creating room for a coded program or A.I., to determine and communicate to the public what a sound investment is. Even, the Office of Professional Responsibility within the Internal Revenue Service communicates that A.I. does not replace due diligence. Quarterly Reports are diligent acts regulated by your Agency. The US economy needs quarterly reporting now more than ever. In conclusion, No Quarterly Reports means No Accurate Reporting. If a bank will deny a small business a loan because of messy books, why should the public be encouraged to invest in a company that can bypass quarterly reporting. The SEC should place sanctions and fines on those companies for negligence. The priviledge of being a publicly traded company should be maintained instead of preserved with nepotism. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
