I am in favor of keeping the quarterly reporting. Quarterly reports ensure ordinary investors and institutions receive consistent, timely information. Regular financial scrutiny deters fraud and helps investors accurately price risk, which in turn lowers the cost of equity capital. A shift to semiannual or less frequent reporting creates longer periods where insiders possess material nonpublic information, increasing the risk of insider trading. Consistent quarterly reporting has been a hallmark of U.S. public markets for over half a century, contributing to transparency, investor trust, and the success of our capital markets.
Please leave the current quarterly reporting alone.
