To the SEC: My mother's retirement, and therefore her ability to care for herself, and by extension, our family's financial well-being - depends on her and our ability to make sound financial decisions and investments. These financial decisions are dependent on truthful and dependable, and timely, financial reporting. There is no reason to backtrack and reduce financial reporting in a world where accounting has become easy - the internet and software record nearly all transactions within hours - if not minutes. There is simply no reason to change this regulation, and it would be a massive failing of the SEC to proceed with this proposal to reduce financial reporting. Please do the right thing.
