These protections are necessary to protect the hard working smaller investors who CANNOT afford to be to have their life savings destroyed by by unscrupulous and corrupt people keeping the books for these investors. All SEC controls need to be enacted and protected to ensure publicly funded investments are not seized, forfitted or risked without complete fiscal oversight.
