Re: File No. 4-931 — Proposed Accredited Investor Examination Dear Securities and Exchange Commission: I am writing to express my support for the proposed accredited investor examination to be developed by FINRA. As a criminal justice student with a strong interest in financial crime, securities regulation, and financial markets, I believe individuals should have an opportunity to demonstrate their financial knowledge and understanding of investment risks through education and examination. Financial wealth does not automatically establish financial literacy, just as having limited financial resources does not necessarily indicate a lack of knowledge or the ability to learn complex investment concepts. I support an examination-based pathway that evaluates an individual’s understanding of securities, financial statements, investment risks, fraud prevention, and investor protections. I also encourage the Commission to consider affordable examination fees, accessible educational resources, and clear preparation guidelines so that qualified individuals from different economic backgrounds have a fair opportunity to participate. Expanding access should not come at the expense of investor protection. Instead, I believe meaningful financial education, rigorous testing, and informed decision-making can help support both objectives. Thank you for providing the public with an opportunity to comment on this proposal. Respectfully, Racquel T. Brooks
