Support--Passage of an Accredited Investor Exam to be Developed by FINRA as Qualifying Natural Persons for Accredited Investor Status. --For any investment (including employer 401k and similar), individuals need to understand finance basics and risk/benefit. Completed financial advisor training with IDS/American Express, hold certification Series 6, 63 (both inactive because I do not have a career in finance). Completed Venture Capital course at Wharton, Managerial Finance certificate at Georgetown University, completed pitch deck reviews for friends in private equity areas, invested with crowdfunding Republic and Wefunder, and have diverse investments including cryptocurrency. My 'earned income' and financial assets do not meet current accredited investor requirements. Interested to pursue Series 65 exam as option to participate in alternative investments.
