October 13, 2026 As a former bookkeeper, I know that most new investors find navigating our markets to be highly complex. Tokenized stocks must be understandable to the people who invest in them. Clear information is especially important when an investment may be connected to a company’s stock but is not the same as owning a traditional share. Investors should be able to understand what the product represents and what holding it means. The process for notifying companies about third-party tokenization and allowing them to object must be clear. Investors should not have to piece together whether notice was given, whether a company objected, or how that impacts their rights and ownership. We need greater clarity so that investors understand what is being offered and how it operates. This transparency is especially important for people making decisions about their retirement, education, and other life events. If investors cannot readily understand the product or the process surrounding it, how will they make financial plans? I encourage the Commission to provide clarity around the tokenization process and how it impacts investors. Investors must be able to make informed decisions without unnecessary confusion or uncertainty about their savings. Sincerely, Dot Key
