Hello there I am emailing to add my comments regarding the few hundred million dollar elephant in the room. It is clear that price is discovery is not being allowed by the use of dark pools to route retail orders consistently. The abuse of this well intentioned mechanism is highly problematic. I am an international investor and the longer this is allowed to go on by the SEC the more disgusted I am becoming with the "free" markets that are touted as a strength of American markets. I don't know if this will be fielded, acknowledged, or addressed in any meaningful capacity but I couldn't just let an apparently viable feedback forum for the SEC go unused. Please use your regulatory powers for the purpose they are intended for and stop this widespread financial predation. If the SEC really is not concerned about these blatant abuses and widespread issues, what is the purpose of spending more money in your markets? Alternative assets and real estate seem much more attractive at this moment and over the medium to long term. Thank you.
