Corporations can exert enormous influence on U.S. government policies and American society at large. If this influence is to be kept honest, all Americans deserve to know when and how each corporation wields it. I urge the SEC to require all public companies to make public disclosures when they intend to lobby U.S. officials or otherwise take positions on social, governmental, or other issues.
