The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission should require corporate managers to be honest with their shareholders about how they are planning for the long term.

I am a network administrator at a financial services firm. I have spent most of my adult life putting money into a retirement plan and I, for one, would like to know if my money is being used to pay politicians to drag their heels on addressing climate change. I would also like to know how much of my saved money is being invested in organizations that have decided they'd rather put their assets overseas than pay taxes to support this country. I'm sure there are plenty of other people who feel similarly. We have a right to know these things; the SEC should require public companies to disclose to their shareholders and the public.

Thank you for considering my comment.
