We can't allow corporate money to ruin our democracy. The very least we can do is disclose who we are being controlled by.
The Securities and Exchange Commission should develop a standard requiring publicly traded corporations disclose their political spending.
As a shareholder of several companies, I think it only fair to know if the companies I invest in give money to people whom I disapprove of. I have a right to know and so does the rest of the country. I ask that you place the disclosures on the SEC web site.
